On the 7th December 2022 Hannah’s Fund held a ‘Literary Laughs’ Quiz Night. A national initiative which encourages Book Clubs to come together in their locality to compete by answering literary related questions. Literary Laughs do all the hard work setting the questions which include a picture and musical round along with fun ideas to help the night go with a swing.
Just Be, a local wine bar hosted our evening with 10 teams joining in the fun. The event was a great evening and although very last minute but £320 was raised. We will be doing it again next year … and would love other book lovers to join us in setting up their own Literary Laughs event wherever you may be !
Teams do not have to be Book Clubs, like with this year they can be groups of friends who want to join the fun.
It was a really great evening. I won some lovely raffle prizes and my team came third, which was of great surprise to us. We'll be back next year.
